There’s different points. What’s the point in pursuing this, is different than what’s the point in this being known in the first place.

Scalzi seems to be lamenting the latter as defeatist while Inigo is asking the former, which I feel is more valid. I generally agree with him that there’s not a whole lot to be done here, but I think it’s important that this is out there.
