Make the case to what degree? In my mind, the NYTimes story, coverage and current reaction is enough. The case has been made. -- (edited)

It falls in line with so many other stories about him.
The difference here is that I don't think this story should be our focus, and we shouldn't try to make fetch happen on an October surprise. People have different thresholds on what the case should be. You obviously want more focus, and that's fine.
The biggest point here is no one is a "piece of shit" for thinking differently on needed levels of effort. That kind of name calling is totally unwarranted and unhelpful.
