+ It responded much better than the Tivo to sudden schedule changes. It actually knew that the Bears had moved to the 3:25pm slot.
- I had to do a Hide and Rescan of channels to get it to stop recording on CBS (2.1) and use the CBS alternative (48.2). Before that it would refuse to record on 48.2 even though 2.1 was hidden
+ 30 second skip, 10 second back skip button works well
- Because it is streaming from the Recast to the FireTV, quality noticably drops when skipping unlike the Tivo which is working with the actual video files. May be improved by getting a wired adapter for my FireTV
- Can't cancel specific episodes of a series recording. Could be risky on days where lots of NFL games are on. No guarantee it records the Bears before any other.

- It wouldn't be so bad if I could do keyword recordings (like "NFL" + "Bears") and make it a higher priority than the NFL series - kilboooooo 👻 Oct 5, 11:03
