Hmmm... let me think about high tops that you might like. For Vans you can buy custom made pairs from their site and change the color of everything.

I bought my nephew a pair in all black with skulls and red trim in certain areas. They looked mean as hell!
But you can just leave off the skulls, if you'd like. :-)
I'll try and think of some models of sneakers that might suit what you need
