Controversy in this election was an ad using parliamentary footage edited to make it seem like Ardern had legislated mandatory COVID vaccination. Can’t use parliamentary footage in ads, even in context.
He’s also awaiting trial for basically laundering an illegal campaign donation. Took $100k and tried to split it up into smaller donations to dodge campaign finance law.
