Agreed. His overall points are right, but the way people react to his characters is more a function...

...that everyday people just aren't equipped to push against a charismatically insistent personality. He's expecting people to tell him how wrong he is, and that's just not how most of population works.
To be clear, I'm not talking about the people who've said or done horrible racist things in front of Borat/Ali G etc..., but more the people who didn't call out Borat for his antisemitism.
