one of my top 10 strangest water damage claims for insurance was all because of a kid's toy

Family had left for the weekend and on the 3rd floor of their huge house, a tub thing in the bath that was sucker cup stuck on the wall fell of - knocking the water handle and turning on the water - and then same sucker cup wound up covering the drain hole, effectively stopping up the tub and causing water to overflow and run down all 3 floors of the home, all weekend long.

You can imagine their surprise when they returned home to find they now had a indoor pool.
