Okay, I'm finally doing it - getting a go bag. Here's what I'm ordering...

-mylar emergency blankets
-first aid kit
-hand crank radio
-matches
-magnesium fire starter
-water purification tablets
-aspirin
-allergy meds
-high calorie bars
-2L water bladder

Already have:
-multitool
-knife
-basic medications
-documents in sealed bag (passports, SS cards, birth certs)
-cash
-non-electric tooth brushes and toothpaste
-plastic bags
-dog stuff (food, meds)

missing anything?

      - big thing is it is handy and easy to transport. the 2 bags I use are backpacks that came with a 24 of beer in them; so easy-peasy to get around - Booooooker Oct 26, 12:25 1
