STL city voted in a big change to local elections. They will be non-partisan and have approval voting in the primary.

Basically, the primary is you vote for everyone that you want (no limit) and the top two vote getters move on to the general.
I'd still prefer ranked choice if you're going non-partisan and cut out the primaries entirely but I guess it's a step.
