2) Most people aren't that well informed. They have their own jobs, kids, and concerns and don't spend a lot of time with any media, mainstream or other.

Thus the marketer takes the economy riding on the Obama/Biden recovery and puts his name on it. People assume he has something to do with it.

The overall strategy to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria was conceived during the Obama administration. The battle for Mosul was begun during Obama's time. It concluded during Trump's time. He put his name on the ISIS victory.
