I mean, the Draft was all of two months ago. I don't think letting him outlast the US Champion and so on, just to have a quick out is all so bad.

To say they've done nothing to make him bigger, when he wasn't generating anywhere near this much heat as Tag Champ is asking a little much, maybe. I had no idea he would run with this chance like this; WWE probably hoped he would, but they didn't know how great he'd be either.

They gave him a "feud" with Cena right off the rip; that's not insignificant.
