building new stars doesn't give you many mistakes to make.

Remember, 2004, Orton getting neutered by Triple H...it took him 3+ years to recover from that; and he'd already been a champion.

Smart money woulda been easy. have him eliminate Cena; then get beat by Triple H in the shock of the moment.

He crows about how he cost Cena the shot at a title chance next week...he plays the chicken-shit heel for a few weeks through the Bash into early August. Hitting and running on Cena; at SummerSlam, Cena gets the match and boom.

You have 3 months of build-up, of a crowd wanting to see Miz get beat by Cena and you've given away very little becuase by then, Cena's desire to get even with Miz has elevated Miz to semi-equivalence status.

Boom. easy money.

Cuz fans want to pay to see guys like Miz get beat up.
