Yes, hence, small victory. Unless more is done at the local and ultimately then national level, this is just a speed bump.

Nothing is going to get passed, Democrats will get "blamed" because the can't message on point, and we'll have another swing to the right in 4 years because people mainly only care about Presidential elections.
Unless I'm wrong (and I could very well be), this is the same cycle; local level politics is mostly the same, with some small victories. It's back and forth - thankfully that it's not completely one-sided - but we take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back over the course of decades.
We inch forward (again, thankfully), but this country has some deep, deep rooted problems, and they've been really unearthed these past 3-4 years.
