The Democrats have a lost a generation of rural voters by deciding rural areas aren’t worth running in.

They did manage to at least field a candidate in each of our House districts this year but that isn’t always the case.

You can laugh at the GOP outreach to minority groups but they figured out a long time ago they don’t have to win them they just have to do the best they can to hold down margins. And it nearly worked this year.

Maybe Democrats have started to figure out the same with rural areas but I’ll want to see consistent effort there before saying they have.
