As Bill Mahr likes to say, do we really need 2 Dakotas? Personally, I'm not a particular fan of states rights except for limited matters. I think

it's absurd. You're right it's the United States. That doesn't mean that states with smaller populations are entitled to disproportionate representation. As I said a few days ago, protection from tyranny of the majority has created a tyranny of the minority. It doesn't work.
