Braking For Whales follows an estranged sister and brother as they reunite following the death of their mother. Inexplicably, their mother’s dying wish was to have her remains deposited into the body of a whale, and with their inheritance on the line, Brandon (Tom Felton, Harry Potter’s own Draco Malfoy) and Star (Pretty Little Liars’ Tammin Sursok) embark on a road trip that forces them to face things about their siblinghood that may have otherwise gone ignored — including the fact that Brandon is a closeted gay man.
