validation so you aren't the bad guy. If you want to have fun in med school and you think the long distance thing is just going to be too much extra effort, then end it. Although good luck, I don't think you're going to have much time for anyone else.

I have friends who met in college and dated for 2 years, then went to law schools 7 hours apart. They've been married for 15 years now, of course law school is only 3 years.

Were are you going to med school?
