They were comically childish. Obnoxious is accurate, and it became exponentially so over the years.

Even when you saw YouTubers you liked in them, you had to feel bad for them. Last year, it was largely a series of slides showing analytics and growth. It was like YouTube had grown up. It was marketing to the money people instead of the fans, who had turned on them. So... I guess a step in the right direction?
