So long as it's still hot, there's still a chance of a fire.

Once you plug it back it, see if you can place it somewhere away from other flammable stuff. Even if there is a fire, it might just flame out quickly. Odds are, though, that the worst that will happen is that it'll pop and that'll be it. So long as it's not draped in paper or near a curtain or sitting on a carpet, you should be safe.
