When I was in high school, I got accepted to a district chorus. They sent us the music, and it turned out that half of the male singing part in one of the songs was whistling. I tried and tried, but couldn't do it - so I decided that I would pretend to whistle and blend in with everyone else.

When we got to rehearsing, it turned out that only a third of us could whistle in tune. I didn't feel so bad all of a sudden.
