everyday I'm thinking, "Dude/Dudette, you're going to have serious hearing loss by the time you're 25" for at least 2 or 3 people on the train/subway -- nm

that's why I got a pair of sound-isolating headphones. ipod volume never goes past about 20%, even on planes. -- nm
