Two unpopular Star Wars opinions, but no spoilers. (or I hope no spoilers) -- (edited)
|
Opinion #1: Solo - a Star Wars Story - is actually a good film. And while Rogue One might be the best film in the entire Star Wars canon, Solo ranks right up there.
Opinion #2: If there is a central character for the entire saga, it certainly isn't Luke Skywalker. It's Chewbacca. Period. End of story. No other character, other than Darth Vader, has appeared throughout the entire canon. And Chewie has directly participated in more events, and has has received more second-hand information through personal relationships with major characters, than Darth Vader or any other persona in the canon.
Opinion #3: Shut up, David. (he said sarcastically with great humor and jibing)

The best line in Star wars wasn't from a movie or TV show but from a comicbook.

(also 3PO and R2 have both been in more movies than Chewie) -- nm

I mostly agree on point 1, except too much stupid stuff on "how Han got his [whatever]". I think I'd put it 6th or 7th behind in no particular order

it's been canon for decades C3P0 is telling the story to people in the future. Star Wars is all flashback as he saw it. -- nm

#2 seems like the whole "Xander was the central character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer" argument all over again.
