It sort of makes sense as black is the most popular color in clothing but for me with sports teams I want to wear the team's colors.

I don't want a black Jets hat or jersey. Green or it's in the trash.
Same for all the teams I root for and I say this as someone with the majority of his clothes in black and was just bitching out loud to no one that I couldn't get a shirt I wanted because they only had it in white
