to be fair to USPS - a lot of letter sorting machines need to be replaced with package sorting due to shifting needs. the timing was terrible and

the response by dejoy was shitty, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that these were necessary moves. they absolutely could have waited...that joy over "trolling the libs" is really frustrating to witness
