Clue package suggested a connection to Sinatra.

I recalled an ERB (Sinatra vs. Mercury) lyric about someone else writing My Way.

I then recalled that the someone who wrote My Way was Paul Anka.

So I found a video of Anka actually performing My Way, and my God, it's a perfect match.
