Australia just started trialling the new system to level up over 40.

The requirements to get to level 41 are:

-6,000,000 XP
-Power up a Legendary Pokemon 20 times
-Win 30 raids
-Catch 200 Pokemon in the same day.

Will let you know the requirements for 42 when I get there.
