*I had a tiny tabletop one at the old small apartment, but no room for an actual tree (or room to store it).

I'm also never home for Christmas. I'm always at family for an extended period around Christmas.

But I have space for a tree in the new place and big windows so I ordered one. It's a collapsible (because storage is still tight in NYC) but I'm looking forward to plugging it in when it arrives.
