In response to "It is just not responsible to have Thanksgiving. At all. -- nm" by amanda jeans

Well I'm at my in-laws for Thanksgiving, though I'd prefer not to be. It was a dilemma. My FIL has Alzheimer's and it's really progressing quickly

in the last year. Pretty good chance this is the last Thanksgiving he recognizes us. The other siblings and their families did not come. One will come for Christmas (we'll stay home). The other may come for New Years. Frankly, we've quarantined and done the right things to come here. We're more at risk coming here because they have more people coming in and out (home healthcare workers and others to keep things working). They'll have a couple of friends that they regularly see come over for Thanksgiving, but we got them to cancel the server/cleanup help. Didn't know what else to do, so we're doing the best we can and crossing our fingers.
