Case in point: Many seasons ago, Edge was my stud player. But our playoffs started in Week 16, after the Colts had it wrapped up and Edge sat the last two games. So, because of our rule, I was able to drop him and free up a roster spot for someone else who actually played and scored me points. I didn't have to worry about BOTH finding good late-season players AND keeping my keepers.

Or maybe you do get it because you're the awesomest ever and never had that problem.
