ST Poll: At what temperature (C or F) does your air conditioner come on? and do you change it during the day when not at home?.....

I ask because my a/c should go on today but I am not sure whats the "reasonable" number to set it at is. I have it at 26C/78F when I am at home and 30C/86 when I am not. Remeber this is my first house by myself and I am learning all the in's and outs of owning a home and the costs and mechanics that go with it.
