My spoils thoughts

- he had written himself into a corner. He had certain plot points he wanted to do, white court wedding, Dresden’s dark side coming out more, and he took the easy way out. I get her character wouldn’t have retired from injuries like she had been give , but it was the “cheap” option from an author who I think has written himself into a lot of corners.

-I view that to be somewhat similar to the issue with his brother. In reality having his brother be the sacrifice that brought out the dark side would have probably been a better story, but he already used him for a cheap plot move instead of being more imaginative. Heck having the outside replace Murphy would have been more gut wrenching.
