This fucking sucks.
In oldene dayes, society just accepted that people would die, irrationally and unfairly. We are the FIRST generation (Gen X) that had vaccines. The FIRST in the history of humanity. My FATHER lived through terrifying polio epidemics in nyc. my BFF's beloved aunt Rosemary, who I consider a close friend of mine, was partially paralyzed on her right side because of polio, it changed her entire life. . Meg also lived thru polio.
