I wish I remembered exactly what they said. something like "aircraft approaching [lodge], identify yourself and state your intentions."

pilot gave the tail number and said something like "geology sampling crew approaching [lodge] for refueling stop... uh... who's this?"
they basically said "just land and shut down, we don't want to talk about it on-air."
two secret-service looking dudes met us at the helipad and explained. they didn't have their guns, but I assume someone nearby had us covered just in case.
