My 15-year-old TV is finally dyingrapidly. Its a 32 JVC, so I figure I need to replace it with a 40 widescreen. Suggestions ?

I use TV more for company, than to watch, so picture quality isnt a big deal.
Ill need to have it set up for me. Circuit City or?
Will my existing DirecTV box plug and play, or will I need to upgrade it?

Something from Samsung. Or get a Vizio at Costco. Affordable and pretty good. -- nm

LCD. I'd say Sharp, Samsung or Sony. DirecTV will work as pixie says, but you will want to upgrade to HD service from them to get the best picture -- nm

LCD is probably your most cost-effective, best picture, smallest footprint at that size. existing DirecTV should be just plug and play but
