He mentions Matt Levine several times and he covers this all the time (when not on paternity leave).

He’s a really good read and one of the few columnists I read daily.

His thought experiment on vaccines covered in this thread is good but there’s also a lot of evidence this doesn’t happen. Airlines are a good example.

Between Buffet (at the time) and indexing each airline was like 40% owned by the same group of people. And yet, they still competed fiercely where this theory would say they’d stop competing because they have common ownership.
