This seems kind of weird. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E features a giant touchscreen, and at the bottom is a sizable knob for volume control -- (link)

Volume knobs make sense as they are sometimes needed more urgently than others. It is odd to see it built in like that, though.

My 2010 Escape has a similar knob (minus the screen, of course). I sometimes get it confused with the heat knob and the fan knob. So many knobs. -- nm
