In the latest Numberphile podcast, Brady speaks to a statistician who happens to give you some mind-blowing data on the vaccine.

- How'd they get a vaccine so quick? Genetic sequencing!

- How'd they manufacture it so rapidly? They were manufacturing before it was approved. If it turned out to not be good, they'd be out a ton of money, but given the importance, they took the gamble.

- The Pfizer vaccine is 95% effective. The flu vaccine is like 50-60% effective.
