when I make Asian food, I always double the amount of rice I need and then save 1/2 in the fridge to make fried rice a day or two later -- nm

I use Minute rice, so I don't think it works for Fried rice since it's "instant" rice. -- nm

Minute rice is just rice that has been cooked already, then dried. I'm sure it would be fine for fried rice. -- nm

I thought I had read instant rice doesn't work for fried rice. I could be very wrong though. I will try to research it. -- nm
