Republicans can name Rick Perry, a moron, as Secretary of Energy, and Betsy DeVos, a VILE moron, as Secretary of Education. People complain, but there's nothing they can do about it.

Democrats name a clearly intelligent problem solver for an important position. It still receives complaints because Republican political operatives care about power, not governance. Democratic voters care so much about governance that they speak too passionately on the subject, thereby alienating voters.
