a read a piece, maybe ny times? that said they're thinking of possibly having an elder statesman-type person as a transition stabilizer/confidence-

giver - along the lines of lawrence summers, robert rubin, or paul volcker. (not all are alike, eh?)

someone like geithner would be more change-y, but it's up for debate if that's what is desired for such a high-profile-right-now position.
