I don't understand why people don't vote early (if they can).

I'm one of the worst procrastinators, but if you have weeks to vote early instead of (possibly) waiting for hours on Nov 4...why do people wait?
I'm not saying it's bad or dissing anyone...I just don't get it. The only reasons I can comprehend are:
- difficulty getting to an early polling place (too far away).
- procrastinating.
- *wanting* to vote on Nov 4 'just because.'
why else?

Because today is Election Day. Not yesterday, not last week.

The waits here for early voting were up to 8 hours. Plus voting early is like opening Christmas presents early. -- nm

We managed about 50/50 voting early.... this year it was just too hectic around here. -- nm

People are lazy and like to wait till the last minute. Example: Malls on December 24th. -- nm
