Before Wastelanders, Fallout 76 was a far more ghoulish place. They really pushed the sense of total and complete devastation and loss.

Each holotype found, you had to prepare yourself not knowing how hard it might hit.

Now, those are still there... but then there's also General Goofypants of the Brotherhood of Steel saying, "This is our Appalachia now." And it's marred that Fallout feels bad feeling.
