My dad belonged to a military book-of-the-month group, and those were pretty much the only books we had in the house growing up.

Almost all were British WWII stories. Doug Bader's Reach for the Sky, The Dam Busters, The Great Escape, and stories of the French Resistance. I found a copy of Reach for the Sky a few years back - I should try and find it :/
