Not for the Supreme Court but everything else and it was clear that wasn’t going to hold. If they hadn’t done that, Kavanaugh would have been replaced by a different judge and Comey-Barett wouldn’t have been approved. The seat would still be open.

Eliminating it entirely gives the GOP unchecked power when they have all 3 parts. Short term gain, long term pain.
