Not sure they are able to be deployed on federal property though, they were supposed to be helping direct traffic. -- (edited)

Capitol building is federal property, so they’d have to be federalized to be deployed, and guess who they’d report to? -- nm

Fair enough. I guess I never realized they couldn't be deployed on federal property. Makes sense though. But so then why weren't they there to keep
