It could for certain people, but I doubt the whole terrorist mob could be implicated.


And that is assuming storming the Capitol would constitute a felony, and the type of felony that can form the basis of felony murder.

If you take the classic felony murder example -- a bystander gets shot during a bank robbery -- the robbers can be guilty of felony murder. Armed robbery is a violent felony, and those committing violent felonies know (or should know) that death is a risk. Their own or a bystander's.

But would the person who hired the robbers be guilty of felony murder? Maybe.
