HELP. I am looking at cellphones & plans because of paypal & other sites. I do not need expensive & fancy, but do need input on GB's and other stuff

I have not had a cell phone for 2 or 3 years and the last was an ancient flip phone. I am thinking of mint mobiles $15 a month plan, but have no idea what phone I should buy. I doubt there will ever be much photos and other stuff use. I plan on using it mostly for emergency, and knowing an approx. gigabyte usage I'll have before I buy the plan would be nice as well as what phone in the under $100'ish price is suggested.

the main uses will be emergency, and talking to Netflix, HBO Max, etc so they will play on my tv, which needs a mobile device to talk to. I don't

If you can use WiFi most of the time, you probably don't need much of a data plan.
