I thought The Midnight Sky was pretty good. Not fantastic, but a good, solid interesting movie. And Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse is a must see.

If you haven't seen it.

I also consider Cloud Atlas a must see (if you haven't viewed it), and it could be the perfect escapist sci-fi flick you're looking for.

In fact, I might watch Cloud Atlas myself ... .
