two UNINTERESTING THINGS. took my phone to the apple store yesterday, masks mandated for entry. I've seen single digit mask-wearers the last 6 months.

I expect it's a global health and safety policy. temperature checks too. (no covid outside of quarantine hotels in Western Australia since like March/April).
while there, saw the international arrivals quarantine bus pulling up to one of the hotels. police and military escort, cordoned buffer zone between the hotel and the bus, with police/military guards. they used a regular city bus that was maybe 1/4 full, and masks on everyone. literally more masks than I've seen the entire rest of the pandemic.
