Back on my grandfather's side the family had a company that did silver and leaded glass stuff. I had thought about naming kids as Sterling and Crystal

mrs. zork did not like it.
The company was bought out by Birk's and kept a lot of the same patterns. Antique dealers all know them (Roden Bros.) and the stuff is wicked expensive. In the 80s, I saw a silver teapot, coffee pot, creamer, sugar pot set listed for $3500. I've got a couple of crystal pieces but haven't bought any more in years.
